Mrs. Teresa Whiteman

3 and 4 Year Old Preschool

Mrs. Whiteman has been with FCA since 2002 and has been the 3-Year-Old Preschool teacher since 2003, enjoying every minute!

Mrs. Whiteman grew up near Raleigh, North Carolina in the small town of Selma. She always said she wouldn’t end up in a town smaller than Selma, but God told her to bloom where she was planted. She now calls Cheraw "home" after a brief time in Rockingham.

Mrs. Whiteman's husband Bob is retiring from being a Quality Control Manager at Stanley Black & Decker. The Whitemans have two daughters, both of whom attended FCA. Their older daughter has been teaching in North Carolina since 2010 and is now teaching in Cheraw. Their younger daughter recently graduated from Meredith College in North Carolina. The Whitemans have gained a son-in-law and granddaughter in the past several years.

Mrs. Whiteman’s hobbies include reading, sewing, crafts, fishing, and visiting historical sites. She especially enjoys spending time with her daughters at their favorite location - Disney World. The Whiteman house is also home to Sparkey, a Yorkie-Maltese, who joined the family the year Mrs. Whiteman began teaching 3P.

The Whitemans are active members at First Baptist Church in Cheraw.
